Independance Day 2006: 16 Years of Independance in Namibia

Independance stadium was packed. It's too bad that most of the people were uninterested in the speeches by the President and public officials. It is my understanding hat most of the people were bussed in from poorer ares of the city. Many of my colleagues from work were uninterested in going. I enjoyed hearing the speeches and the festivities were overall quite entertaining.
