Cape Town Good Food and Drink Show

May 30, 2007 Leave a Comment Written by Michael Paskevicius

Randomly checked out the Cape Town Good Food and Drink show on Friday evening. The international conference centre is just a short walk from the waterfront.

We bought tasting glasses at the door and were invited to try a number of fantastic South African wines at the various booths. It actually turned out quite nicely, as we had hoped for a wine tour which time did not allow for. We basically had a little wine tour on this night!

Found the Corona booth!!!

Havana Club had a little fruit stand set up. You brought the bartender any two fruits and she would mix you a cocktail. I had melon and lime, which was rather tasty.

All in all a great show! Good representation of South African food and drink!
